Please begin saving your rummage—and plan to help us put on our spring sale! Also plan to come shop!

  • Fri., May 3, 9 a.m.–??: Setup; includes pizza lunch
  • Sat., May 4–Wed., May 8: Donations accepted (see below for items we do not accept), sorting and pricing.
  • Thurs., May 9: Preview Party, 7–9 p.m.
  • Fri., May 10: touchup work, 9 a.m. until done
  • Sat., May 11, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.: THE SALE, with early workers arriving by 7:45
  • Sat., May 11, starting at 1 p.m.: Cleanup

It takes more than 1000 hours to do each rummage sale. We need everyone’s help, so please volunteer for one or more of the following:

Setup Team (beginning Friday, May 3, 9 a.m. —Moving racks & shelves from attic storage area, assembling shelving, setting up tables and generally putting the rummage sale space together. Pizza lunch provided.

Publicity/Social Media—Helping advertise the Rummage sale, posting flyers around town, contacting other churches and organizations, etc. Working with the church’s team to make sure everyone knows about the sale.

Section leaders—Leading and managing various areas: art, signage, outdoor/furniture, tent setup & takedown, children’s, cleanup, charity outreach. We are in particular need of people to do these tasks!

Sorting (Saturday through Wednesday)—Sorting incoming donations and delivering items to the appropriate areas.

Preview Party (Thursday, May 9)—Helping pass food and cleaning up.

Cashiers—Working in teams of two to add up buyer purchases and collect payments.

Cleanup Team (Saturday, May 11, 1 p.m.)—Cleaning up after the sale; disassembling shelving and moving it to attic storage. Many hands make light work!

stuffed animals/used pet toys • cribs • car seats • strollers
sports helmets • weights/weight benches • skis/ski boots
mattresses • large appliances • tires • darts • guns (toy or real)
used undergarments • used plasticware • CRTs/TVs/computer monitors


Proceeds from rummage sales benefit St. Andrew’s mission and ministries.
