Where Art and Spirit Meet
This November, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead invites the community to warm up their spirits with a full month of inspiring cultural events — from soul-stirring music and poetry to thought-provoking storytelling. All events are free, open to the public, and require no reservations.
November 16 (Morning): Poetry with Matthew Henry
After Sunday services at 11:15 AM, gather during Coffee Hour to hear local poet Matthew Henry share his deeply personal and faith-infused verse. Blending themes of love, loss, and hope, Henry’s poetry captures the heart of the human experience. Copies of his poetry collections will be available for purchase.
November 16 (Evening): “For All We Know” with Sonar Immigration
That evening, from 5:30–6:30 PM, return for a truly global musical experience. Duo Will and Christiana Goslin Bueno, performing as Sonar Immigration, will offer songs of gratitude, protest and longing — sung in English, Spanish, Armenian, French, and Portuguese. Their concert, “For All We Know,” promises to be an unforgettable evening of connection through music.
November 23: Stories That Grow with Judith Black
Close out the month at Coffee Hour on November 23 (around 11:15 AM) with award- winning storyteller and environmental advocate Judith Black. Through wit and wisdom, Judith will share the story of how lawns can become havens for pollinators — and how even small transformations can make a big impact. You may leave inspired to turn your own patch of green into a pollinator paradise!
All events will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 135 Lafayette Street, Marblehead, MA. The church is accessible, with free parking available. Events are free and donations will be gratefully accepted
