Come one, come all — two legs, four legs, feathers, fins, or favorite stuffed friend.
All animals are invited to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, October 10, at 11 a.m. for a lighthearted, non-denominational Blessing of the Animals. The service will take place out of doors on the plaza. In case of rain, we will
be in the parish hall.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other friendly animals are welcome — and so are their humans. For those whose animal friends prefer to stay home, stuffed animals are invited,too!
The brief outdoor gathering will celebrate the companionship, joy and unconditional love that animals bring to our lives. All are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation.
For the safety and comfort of everyone, live animals should be accompanied by an adult and kept on leashes, bridles or other appropriate restraints.
