Pledging to St. Andrew’s is a way to show commitment to the church and to God. A pledge is a commitment to donate a certain amount, typically over a calendar year. While pledges are not binding, they are incredibly helpful; understanding our annual pledges helps us plan our annual budget and ministries for the upcoming year. The pledges enable us develop community programming, support pastoral needs, give back through outreach efforts, and be good stewards of our historic church and beautiful campus. One-time donations are always welcome.
We offer many possibilities for giving; you may make a donation right from the form below, or read about other ways to contribute to the well-being of the parish. Thank you in advance!
Please note: if you intend to make your annual pledge through the form below, please include a note/comment indicating “INSERT YEAR pledge,” which will ensure we know it’s a pledge vs. a one-time gift and so we can send you the proper tax deduction forms.

If you want to direct your gift to a specific appeal, put a note in the memo line to help us put it in the right place. If you are making a payment on your pledge, be sure to put “INSERT YEAR pledge,” on the memo line.
- Pay by check: Mail a check, or drop a check in the box outside the office door at the church; someone checks the mail, and the box, daily.
- Use automatic bill pay: Set up a recurring payment through your bank. Add Church of St. Andrew into your Bill Pay service, using the address 135 Lafayette Street, Marblehead, MA 01945. Set up a recurring monthly payment if convenient.
- Make a qualified charitable distribution: You can request a distribution from an IRA directly to Church of St. Andrew as a Qualified Charitable Distribution. The custodian sends a check for the distribution directly to us, and the gift is not subject to taxation, and is excluded from your taxable income. Check with your fund custodian for details, and, if appropriate, with your tax advisor or preparer.
- Consider a gift of securities: Make donations of securities directly to the church’s custodian, Fidelity. This form is intended to give instructions to your broker to do this, but please send us a copy so that we can properly credit the gift to you.
