St. Andrew’s Semi-Annual Rummage Sale: May 9

Twice a year, St. Andrew’s hosts its beloved Rummage Sale, offering high-quality items at affordable prices. This cherished event promotes sustainable shopping while directly supporting our church’s missions and ministries—helping us serve those in need, both locally and globally.

Spring Sale: Saturday, May 9 8:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Stuff-a-Bag Session: Noon – 1:00 p.m.

Special Preview Party

Join us Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m., before each sale for an exclusive Preview Party! Enjoy getting first dibs on incredible finds. A donation at the door is encouraged.

Drop off items May 2 – 6 , 8 am to 7 pm
Your donations make a difference! Thank you for supporting St. Andrew’s and our community outreach. We gladly accept the following items in good, usable condition:

  • Adults’ and children’s clothing and shoes
  • Accessories, jewelry, and handbags
  • Christmas items
  • Small appliances, electronics, and tools
  • Games, puzzles, and toys (must be in like-new condition)
  • Lamps, linens, artwork, and small antiques
  • Cookware, tableware, glassware, and bric-a-brac
  • Home decor and garden supplies
  • Record albums and CDs
  • Sporting goods (with exceptions—see below)
View items we CANNOT accept
  • No furniture
  • No books
  • No stuffed animals or used pet toys
  • No sports helmets of any kind
  • No baby cribs, car seats, or strollers
  • No large appliances, mattresses, or tires
  • No used undergarments
  • No used plastic-ware, single glasses
  • No weights or weight benches
  • No skis or ski boots
  • No cassettes or VHS tapes
  • No darts, toy guns, or real guns
  • No CRT televisions or computer monitors

Parishioners take note–We Need YOU! Become a Volunteer!

It takes over 1,000 volunteer hours to bring this event to life—we need everyone in our parish to pitch in! The good news? We have tried-and-true systems in place, and no experience is needed. Whether you can give an hour or an afternoon, your help makes a real impact.

Find Your Perfect Volunteer Role!

  • Set Up: Friday, May 1 (morning)
    9 a.m. – noon (followed by pizza!)
    Bring items from the attic and assemble shelving.
  • Delivery Drivers Saturday, May 2 – Wednesday, May 6
    Between 3–5 p.m. (at your convenience)
    Bring several boxes or bags to Savers or Goodwill.
  • Prep Week Volunteers Saturday, May 2 – Wednesday, May 6
    9 a.m.–7 p.m. (Sunday: noon–5 p.m.)
    Clean, fold, arrange, and price items.
    No need to sign up—just drop in!
  • Clean-up Crew: Saturday, May 9
    1 p.m. until done, hopefully by 3 p.m.
    Take down and put away tables and shelving, return items to the attic, set up rooms again, and sweep.
  • Thursday evening (7–9 p.m.) & Saturday morning (8–10 a.m. and/or 10 a.m.–noon):
    • Cashiers: Check out guests with purchases
    • Door security: Sit near a doorway to direct people to proper exits
    • General help: Be available to assist in various rooms
    • Translators: Help with Spanish, Russian, etc.
