Volunteers Needed
It takes more than 1000 hours to do each rummage sale. We need everyone’s help, so please volunteer for one or more of the following:
- Setup Team: Beginning Friday
Moving racks & shelves from attic storage area, assembling shelving, setting up tables and generally putting the rummage sale space together. Pizza lunch provided. - Publicity/Social Media
Helping advertise the Rummage sale, posting flyers around town, contacting other churches and organizations, etc. Working with the church’s team to make sure everyone knows about the sale. - Section Leaders
Leading and managing various areas: art, signage, outdoor/furniture, tent setup & takedown, children’s, cleanup, charity outreach. We are in particular need of people to do these tasks! - Sorter: Saturday through Wednesday
Sorting incoming donations and delivering items to the appropriate areas. - Preview Party Support: Thursday
Helping pass food and cleaning up. - Cashiers: When: Saturday
Working in teams of two to add up buyer purchases and collect payments. - Clean up Crew: Saturday
Cleaning up after the sale; disassembling shelving and moving it to attic storage. Many hands make light work!
